With more than 125,000 square feet of vibrant gaming space, MGM National Harbor will quickly become the region’s most advanced, high-tech industry leader.

New table game side bets and progressive jackpots offer players the chance to win big. VIP guests looking to enhance their experience can enjoy an  upscale gaming parlor featuring elevators and semi-private salons.
On the casino floor, server-based gaming holds court with revolving themes and content that provides a more immersive and personalized experience. MGM National Harbor has teamed with Scientific Games to showcase, TwinStar J43, the newest addition to the TwinStar™ product line. The J43 possesses a new cabinet design touting a cinematic game-play experience and exclusive content that surely will entertain all players.

Features of the J43 include a 43” J-curve monitor for improved player viewing, 4K monitor resolution for striking graphics, game-synchronized lighting, a USB power port allowing players to charge cell phones, iPads or other devices, and a multi-channel sound package. The Scientific Games collaboration doesn’t end there, as MGM National Harbor is in the final stages of co-designing a custom slot machine highlighting the region’s history. The machine, ‘Majestic Slots – Monumental Winnings,’ is scheduled to be introduced to guests in early 2017.

The Gamescape cabinet is the second Scientific Games product to make its regional debut at MGM National Harbor. Gamescape utilizes three high-definition displays that angle toward the player along with a 40”-curved top screen that surrounds the player, allowing them to be fully immersed in the experience. Additionally, a tablet button panel integrates gameplay to coordinate graphics across multiple displays, resulting in five unique screens that combine to create an expanded platform for stunning graphics and seamless motion. An integrated sound bar rounds out the sensory experience by delivering booming, 3D stereo sound, eliminating the need for a sound chair.

A new-to-market machine making its presence known on the floor is the Australian-made A600 by Ainsworth. The sleek, innovative slot cabinet comes equipped with an LCD touchscreen button deck, a dynamic lighting package to illuminate the machines’ screens and banks, and extensive new graphics capabilities including, animations and improved reel features.

The Poker Room at MGM National Harbor rounds out the casino’s innovative gaming experience.  The interactive setting allows players to enjoy a variety of games while in a fun, full-service and smoke-free environment. Adding to the atmosphere are high-tech features including an impressive overhead music system, more than 40 HDTV monitors and a modern video wall for viewing sporting events or other programming.
