Ted Manos, Vice President of SmithGroupJJR, is the Architect of Record and Project Manager for the MGM National Harbor project. He is responsible for the negotiations of all contracts related to the project and the management of the Design Team which, is made up of more than 50 consulting firms. With over 47 years of experience, Mr. Manos is experienced in all phases of architectural engineering as it relates to project management, technical documentation of construction documents (drawings and specifications), and the construction administration phases of projects. His experience in the technical aspects of architecture includes a thorough understanding of project-related issues, construction issues, and architectural detailing. This knowledge allows him to anticipate problems and find timely solutions vital to both budget and schedule adherence. Mr. Manos also specializes in building forensics issues, providing evaluations, design recommendations, and construction follow-up services to many of our clients.

Mr. Manos holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. He is a registered architect in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Michigan, New York, and Virginia. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Mr. Manos is a Certified Value Specialist.
