Founded in 1985 in Montreal, Scéno Plus has made its mark internationally by its constant quest for innovative design and original construction solutions dedicated to cultural and recreational venues. Since its inception, Scéno Plus has completed entertainment projects of large scope, many incorporating one-of-a-kind technological features for different type of venues including small creative studios, multidisciplinary spaces, circus theatres, concert halls, large-capacity theatres, cinemas, convention centres as well as event centers and multipurpose halls. In 31 years of design practice, the company has consolidated its expertise and has been acknowledged for its innovation. From giant LED immersive and interactive screens to fully transformable configurations with cutting-edge retractable seating, Scéno Plus also features a radical design avant-garde approach providing guests with unique experiences of spaces.
Scéno Plus past international realizations include among others, The Event Centre at The Star property in Sydney, the Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, The Venue at Horseshoe Casino, the Cirque du Soleil Theatre at Disney in Orlando, the Caesars Colosseum, the Wynn Las Vegas Showroom, the Bellagio Theatre for the ‘’O’’ show and the Treasure Island Showroom for Cirque du Soleil show ‘’Mystère’’.
The firm is currently working on two multipurpose venues in North America and China which are under construction. The first one is The Park Theater, a 5,256 to 6,000 seats venue in Las Vegas on the Monte Carlo property which will open in December 2016. The second is a fully transformable theatre with a capacity of 1,400 to 2,000 seats which is part of the new MGM Cotai development in China, scheduled for opening in the second quarter of 2017.
