Marshall Moya Design’s projects span the commercial, institutional, civic, and cultural sectors. The firm has designed a number of iconic projects in the Washington, D.C. region, including The Howard Theatre; Chuck Brown Memorial; Reunion Square in Southeast; elementary schools for the District; and the new Student Center at the University of the District of Columbia. Current projects include the D.C. United Stadium, the state-of-the-art Wizards Practice Facility, and projects for MGM Resorts International. An entrepreneurial firm, Marshall Moya Design has solidified its position in the D.C. region and beyond as an influential and valuable design partner.
 
Michael Marshall originally founded the firm in 1989 as Michael Marshall Architecture. In 2010, he formed a partnership with Paola Moya to establish a design studio based on the tenants of vision, value, and collaboration: Marshall Moya Design. The firm has since developed an extensive and competitive portfolio, built strategic alliances and partnerships, and challenged the status quo. Above all, the Marshall Moya Design team maintains a solid commitment to uniting people and strengthening communities through innovative design.
