Gail Vogels uses an assemblage of her life drawings, hand-altered papers and found objects to reveal the beauty of the everyday. The magic realism narrative is intentional. Objects of nature and architecture are juxtaposed with the figure in an attempt to show us the everyday world in new and unfamiliar ways.

Born in Egypt, Diane Tuckman escaped to France and then came to the USA. She has traveled to 27 countries and 35 states in America. Wherever she  lived and traveled, she was constantly exposed to the arts, nature and colors. She enjoys exploring and experimenting with a variety of visual techniques to
bring new expressions to my art.

Martha Jackson Jarvis’ sculptures have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States and abroad, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.; the Studio Museum of Harlem, N.Y. Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, N.Y.; Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem, N.C.; Anacostia Museum in Washington, D.C. and the Tretyakov Gallery Moscow, U.S.S.R. Her numerous awards include a Creative Capital Grant, Virginia Groot Fellowship, and National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, The Penny McCall Foundation Grant , and Lila Wallace Arts International Travel Grant.

Ronald Beverly - Artist Bio

Ronald Beverly is a fine art photographer/digital imagist residing in Prince George’s County over 16 years. His academic studies produced a BFA from Howard University and an MFA from George Washington University. Inspired by the masters of large format film camera work, Ronald developed a sensibility towards texture and detail by emphasizing tactile quality of the elements within the photographic composition while possessing the need to capture and finesse the elusive quality of light as reoccurring characteristics in his work



Margaret Boozer - Artist Bio

Margaret Boozer - Artist Bio

Margaret Boozer lives and works in Prince Georges County, MD, in the Washington, DC metro area. She received a BFA in sculpture from Auburn University and an MFA in ceramics from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Boozer developed an interest in digging native clays that has led to collaborations with soil scientists and work that explores intersections of art and science.
